PATRICIA E. PERMAKOFF, was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1980. She is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York.Ms. Permakoff is a graduate of the Lenox Hill Hospital School of Nursing (R.N. 1971), Marymount Manhattan College (B.A. 1975) and Brooklyn Law School (J.D. 1979). She is a registered nurse and maintains her license in New York State. She has been associated with Morris Duffy Alonso & Faley since graduating from law school in 1979 and became a partner in 2000.Ms. Permakoff specializes in the pre-trial litigation phases of medical malpractice, medical products liability, and prescription drug liability cases. She is the lead attorney in preparing witnesses for pre-trial depositions and trial testimony as well as record analysis. Ms. Permakoff is the medical malpractice trial coordinator at Morris Duffy Alonso & Faley. She has lectured on litigation and risk management in nursing schools, hospitals and insurance companies. Ms. Permakoff has represented nurses at Professional Misconduct and Disciplinary Hearings in New York.She is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the New York County Lawyers Association.
