BARRY M. VIUKER was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1975. He is also admitted to practice in the United States Southern and Eastern District Courts, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, The United States Supreme Court and to the Bar of the State of New Mexico.Mr. Viuker graduated from the University of Rochester with a Bachelors of Arts in 1968. He received his Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law in 1974.Mr. Viuker was a staff attorney with the New York State Commission of Judicial Conduct from 1975 to 1982. He then became Chief Counsel to Disciplinary Board to the New Mexico Supreme Court and served in that position from 1982 to 1984. In 1984 he became associated with the law firm of Bower & Gardner where he specialized in medical malpractice litigation for the next 10 years. In 1994 he joined Morris Duffy Alonso & Faley and became a partner in 1997.Mr. Viuker specializes in litigation and trial work with an emphasis on medical malpractice matters. He also specializes in dental malpractice and legal malpractice matters as well as doing general litigation and construction matters. He has tried cases in all of the counties of New York City, Long Island and the northern suburbs and has orally argued cases on appeal.Mr. Viuker is a senior trial partner at Morris Duffy Alonso & Faley. He is married and has three children.
