CHARLES M. KERR joined MDAFP in 2016 and became a partner in 2024. He represents insurers, property owners, contractors, subcontractors, and businesses in complex and high-exposure liability matters, including Labor Law and construction litigation and premises liability claims.
Mr. Kerr handles every phase of litigation, from initial investigation and case strategy through discovery, depositions, expert development, dispositive motion practice, mediation, and trial. He has helped secure multiple defense verdicts and other favorable trial outcomes as a member of MDAFP's trial teams. His motion practice has resulted in complete dismissals and has substantially narrowed significant claims, positioning matters for favorable resolution or trial. Mr. Kerr brings a strategic, detail-oriented, and practical approach to defending his clients.
