MICHAEL B. TITOWSKY became associated with the firm in August of 1993 and became a partner in 1997. He worked exclusively in the civil litigation field from his law school graduation in 1981 through his retirement from full-time practice in 2022. He then became a mediator in 2022 and joined the esteemed panel of mediators at National Arbitration & Mediation (NAM) in 2024.
Prior to starting his mediation practice, Mr. Titowsky obtained numerous defendants' verdicts and dismissals at trial in premises, motor vehicle, general liability, labor law and medical malpractice cases in all five boroughs. He also participated in hundreds of mediations as a defense attorney, with a focus on construction accident cases under Labor Law sections 200, 240 and 241-6.
Mr. Titowsky has authored legal articles for numerous publications, including The New York Law Journal and the Torts Insurance and Compensation Journal of the New York State Bar. He is a frequent CLE lecturer for The New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers, The Bronx County Bar Association and NAM.
Mr. Titowsky is married to Jeannette B. Price and has two daughters. He lives on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, where he is still active as a referee and umpire in high school sports programs, including the West Side Soccer League and the Public School Athletic League. Knicks in Five!
